According to the Partnership for Drug Free kids, boredom is in the top eight reasons that teenagers say they drink. Many teens feel as though there is nothing better to do in their small-town communities than drink, hang out with friends and drive backroads.

Farms are always looking for ways to sustainably improve their efficiency. Take the time to ask around and understand the importance of rural development. Not everything in the countryside is boring. For example, learn about aquaponics and vertical farming to see how they can solve world hunger.
